UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO TERTIARY EDUCATION

Libreng edukasyon ang hatid ng Republic Act 10931 o UAQTEA.

Kasama rito ang libreng competency assessment, allowance at toolkits.

Para maka-avail, siguraduhing pasok sa sumusunod na kwalipikasyon:

• May sampung taon na basic education at iba pang requirement na nakasaad sa Training Regulation ng napiling kurso
• Sumailalim na sa NCAE/MATB/YP4SC Profiling
• Hindi college graduate
• Hindi holder ng National Certificate III o mas mataas pa, maliban na lamang kung enrolled sa Level IV bundled programs o Diploma courses
• Walang scholarship grant galing sa ibang ahensya ng gobyerno
• Filipino citizen

PRIVATE EDUCATION STUDENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Ang PESFA ay program ng TESDA na nagbibigay tulong pinansyal para sa mga marginalized ngunit karapat-dapat na mga estudyante ng tech-voc education at training.

SPECIAL TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM

Ang STEP ay programa ng TESDA para sa mga mamamayan na nagnanais magkaroon ng skills na magagamit sa pagnenegosyo o sariling hanapbuhay.

Pumili sa mahigit 70 qualifications o training sa ilalim ng STEP.

TRAINING FOR WORK SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Ang TWSP ay sagot sa isyu ng “job skills missmatch.” Layunin nito na matiyak na ang “labor force requirement” ng industriya ay mapupunan.

Pumili sa mahigit 230 qualifications o training sa ilalim ng 18 sectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Ano ang mga libreng kurso o training mula sa TESDA at anu-ano ang mga requirements?
Mayroong daan-daang available courses na pwedeng pagpilian ng mga mag-aaral. Maaaring magtanong ang sinumang interesado sa pinakamalapit na provincial o district offices sa kanilang lugar para malaman ang mga available na kurso.

Tumatanggap ba ang TESDA ng ALS graduates sa kanilang mga training programs?
Oo. Ang TESDA ay tumatanggap ng mga aplikante na nagtapos sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Learning System (ALS).

Mayroon bang age requirement sa pagkuha ng scholarships sa TESDA?
Karamihan ng mga kurso ay nire-require na dapat ay edad 18, pero, mayroong mga training programs na tumatanggap ng mga scholars o trainees na mas mababang edad sa 18.

Paano ako ma-assess bilang certified skilled worker at magkano ang assessment fee?
Para maging TESDA National Certificate (NC) holder, kailangan mong pumasa sa Competency Assessment.

Sa pangkalahatan, ang assessment fees ay kasama na sa ilang TESDA scholarship programs (gaya sa TWSP, STEP, and Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW). Ang fees na ito ay para lamang sa mga materyales na ginamit sa assessment.

Gayunpaman, may ilang ibang skills assessment na mayroong minimal fee na dapat bayaran.

Ako ay isa ng skilled worker. Kailangan ko pa bang kumuha ng skills training upang ma-certify ng TESDA?
Kung mayroon ka nang sapat na karanasan sa iyong kuwalipikasyon at kasalukuyan nang nagtatrabaho, maaari kang makapag-avail ng libreng assessment na tinatawag na Competency Assessment and Certification for Workers (CACW).

Sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 7796 o Technical Education and Skills Development Act ng 1994, ang Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) ay itinatag sa pagsasanib ng National Manpower and Youth Council (NMYC), Bureau of Technical-Vocational Education ng Department of Education, Culture and Sports (BTVE-DECS) at Office of Apprenticeship ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Sa kasalukuyan, ang TESDA ay ang sangay ng gobyerno na naatasan upang pangasiwaan ang technical-vocational education at training (TVET) system sa bansa.

Maliban sa pagpapatupad ng iba’t-ibang programa at proyekto, ang TESDA ay nagtatakda rin ng policy directions at guidelines ng resource allocation para sa mga pribado at pampublikong TVET institutions.
