TESDA Northern Samar Facilitates Distribution of Starter Toolkits to Scholars

The TESDA Northern Samar Provincial Office, spearheaded by Provincial Director Engr. Zosimo De Asis, recently organized the distribution of starter toolkits for scholars who completed their training at the Provincial Training Center (PTC-Catarman).

Scholars under the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) received their toolkits after successfully completing the required number of trainings for the following qualifications:

  1. Overall Motorcycle/Small Engine (Leading to Motorcycle/Small Engine NC II)
  2. Service Electrical System (Leading to Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II)
  3. Automotive Servicing NC I

The allocation for this scholarship program was provided by Northern Samar 1st District Representative, Congressman Paul R. Daza.

Engr. Luisito Ombrog and Board Member Gilbert Layon were also present during the event. They conveyed a message of congratulations to the scholars on behalf of Hon. Paul R. Daza, emphasizing the importance of their achievements and the opportunities that lie ahead in their chosen fields.

The distribution of starter toolkits serves as a tangible representation of the support and commitment of TESDA Northern Samar and Congressman Paul R. Daza to empower individuals through skills development and education. These scholars are now equipped with the necessary tools to kickstart their careers and contribute to the growth and development of their communities.
