Concepcion Vocational School (CVS) was created under RA 8138 with curriculum emphasis on agriculture, vocational and technical training, and science and technology education.

As provider of technical vocational education and training, CVS has achieved remarkable increase in its student enrolment and employment; strengthened partnership with industries to establish more relevant dual training programs, registered programs with TESDA under UTPRAS; was identified as CENTEX for Animal Production and a beneficiary of Expanded Dual Education and Training Project; developed its Quality Management System and passed compliance audits; accredited BRONZE LEVEL on Philippine TVET Quality Award; accredited as a competency and assessment center; continuously pursued on the development of its human resources for an improved instructional delivery system; and accredited on Bronze Level by Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) and in 2012 was re-accredited with higher Bronze level points by APACC and identified Commercial Cooking as its flagship program

CVS is located at TRC Compound, Alfonso, Concepcion, Tarlac, 2-kilometers away from the intersection of Magalang-Concepcion-Capas junction, with a jeepney distance of about five (5) minutes to Concepcion town proper, thus, making the accessibility of the school good, even for students coming from surrounding municipalities like Capas, Bamban, Magalang and Mabalacat because of the available public utility buses, jeepneys and tricycles. The school is strategically located close to logistics hubs for business, industry and tourism to Metro Manila, Clark Special Economic Zone, Subic Bay EFZ, W Growth Corridor and North Agribusiness Quadrangle through the NLEX, SCTEX and Manila North Road.

RA 8138 – Act Establishing a Vocational School in the Municipality of Concepcion, Province of Tarlac to be known as Concepcion Vocational School, under the supervision of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority which lapsed into law on July 16, 1995 in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.

Entry Requirements for TESDA Courses:

  • Filipino Citizen
  • At least 15 years of age
  • High school graduate
  • Form 138, Form 138, Form 9 or Diploma for High School Graduates
  • Transcript of records or Diploma for College Level/Graduates
  • ALS Certificate of Rating for ALS Passers
  • Barangay Certificate
  • Birth Certificate, PSA or Municipal Copy
  • Four (4) pieces recent passport-sized photo (white background with collar)
  • Four (4) pieces recent 1×1 ID photo
  • Photocopy of marriage contact (for married female)
