P

Philippine Women’s University Career Development and Continuing Education Center (PWU CDCEC) is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

In 1999, the Multi-Location Program was conceived to expand PWU’s reach all over the country. This program aspired to reach out to students who were not able to go to Manila for quality skills and training. CDCEC initiated tie – ups with private individuals and corporations to set- up CDCEC Schools in pilot provinces that were in need of quality continuing education.

Today, PWU CDCEC Affiliate Schools continue to grow (in course offerings and numbers) to answer the expanding needs of the global community. This chapter concentrates on the Multi Location Program of CDCEC as a way of expanding the legacy of PWU to all parts of the Philippines.

CDCEC was founded in 1978 to answer an increased demand of businesses for special courses on skills development and professional continuing education. Throughout its existence, CDCEC has been continuously adapting its course offerings to meet present and future demands for competent skilled workers.
