The growing demand for skilled workers here and abroad, made the school offer Technical Vocational Education and Training Program, which are registered and certified by TESDA. Dipolog School of Fisheries offers crash courses in Commercial Cooking, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Services, Bartending, Bread and Pastry Production; Communication Technology, Computer Hardware Servicing Caregiving Aquaculture as the Center of Excellence, Electrical Installation and Maintenance Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Servicing, Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing and Shielded Metal Arc Welding.

In its entrepreneurial thrust, the Dipolog School of Fisheries is undertaking Income Generating Projects (IGP) in Aquaculture; bangus grow-out, tilapia, shrimps and prawn culture, hito breeding and grow-out; bottled bangus and herring, krill paste; hatchery; hito and tilapia breeding and organic garden.

The Dipolog School of Fisheries has undergone outreach/extension programs (community based) to clients in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, Dapitan City, Camiguin Island, Surigao, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental to name a few and is still conducting community based programs.

Scanning back over the past 52 years, the Dipolog School of Fisheries stands on 20,251 hectares with pride over the manifold manifestations that she has made.

Today, in her humble nook in Brgy. Olingan in the city of Dipolog, she lives with a dream of becoming the Mindanao College of Fisheries and Allied Sciences and Technology.

  • At least High School Graduate
  • Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • With good moral character
  • Undergone a pre-training assessment
  • Can communicate both orally and in written form
