The Tony Galvez School of Cosmetology (TGSC) offers a comprehensive training program that prepares students for exciting and lucrative careers as elite professionals in the beauty industry. TGSC is the only cosmetology school in the Philippines that offers a truly global training structure, that are intensive and rigorous, to hone students to be globally skilled and competitive. The school adopted the international cosmetology training structure and break grounds by offering non-traditional or age-old training but offers result-oriented programs and globally recognized education that aims to deliver optimal prospects for students.

Holistic training is the key. The curriculum includes both general core courses such as chemistry, anatomy, mathematics, communication, and salon management, as well as occupational courses, such as hair cutting, hair coloring, facial make-up, and nail care among others.

The Tony Galvez School of Cosmetology was established in 1989 to provide a better standard of cosmetology education the Philippines. It initially provided scholarships to underprivileged but talented students who were serious about becoming true professionals in the field.

Institute president and founder Tony Galvez is a long-time advocate of professionalizing the industry through quality education. A published author and respected industry practitioner, he believes that adhering to international standards in training and practice can uplift the status of the profession in the country and promote the advancement of the industry as a whole. It is difficult to change the system, the government has been following the age-old program for a long time where the study focuses merely on the basic. They have to realize that the cosmetology profession needs more than just the basics.
