Phil-Nippon Technical College, Inc. (PNTC), formerly known as Japanese Language Education Center, was established in Manila, Philippines on April 1997. PNTC was organized in the year 2010 as a stock corporation registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), accredited by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as a Technical Vocational School. PNTC has trained and developed youth of our country to make them competitive in the field of Japanese Language and Technical Skills. To help accquire new skills, to make them productive citizens of our country and enable them to cope up with world innovation.

The Phil-Nippon Technical College offers a program designed to ensure Japanese companies of their required standards as far as skills training and Japanese language training are concerned. We help our graduates by referring them to our affiliated Japanese companies. Courses Offered:

JLPT N4 – N4 Class follows on from our basic N5 Class. This course is usually 2 months long and aims to prepare students to pass the JLPT N4 Exam. Students will be taught additional Japanese vocabularies and kanji, and advance grammar structures and patterns. Students who take this course can expect to express themselves more confidently because of the improved vocabularies, grammar and listening skills. Mock exams will be given to the students to test their learning and understanding throughout the duration of the course.

JLPT N5 – This course is designed for students who does not have any background with the Japanese language, and or willing to learn the basics of the said language. Students will be learning the basics of the language such as the writing system which includes Hiragana, Katakana and Basic Kanji (Chinese Characters), and basic self- introduction.

AUTOMOTIVE – This course is designed to enhance the knowlege, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive servicing in accordance with industry standards.

CAREGIVING NCII – This course is consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide care and support to infants/toddlers, provide care and support to children, foster social, intellectual, creative and emotional development of children, foster the physical development of children, provide care and support to elderly, provide care and support to people with special needs, maintain healthy and safe environment, respond to emergency, clean living room, dining room, bedrooms, toilet and bathroom, wash and iron clothes, linen, fabric, prepare hot and cold meals.

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS – This course is designed to teach students basic to complex electrical and electronics related knowledge.

FOOD PROCESSING NCII – This course is consists of competencies that a person must achieve to process foods by salting, curing and smoking; process food by fermentation and pickling; process food by sugar concentration and package finished  / processed food products.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NCII – This course is consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities.

FRONT OFFICE SERVICES NCII – This course is consists of competencies that a person must possess in order to be able to conduct the process of making a reservation, registering and checking-in and checking-out a guest in commercial accommodation establishments.

MACHINING – This course is designed to teach student the knowledge and techniques in machining.

METAL PRESS – This qualification is designed to develop knowledge, desirable attitudes and skills in Metal Stamping NC II Qualification specifically to set up, conduct trial run and operate mechanical press.

PAINTING – This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual in the field of automotive body paint refinishing in accordance with industry standards.

PLASTIC MOLDING – This course is designed to equip individual the competencies that a person must achieve to be able to perform plastic machine operation.

WELDING – This course teaches student the basic to complex welding techniques.

The cost of training and tuition fees may vary depending upon the specific course of interest and the school offering the training. Training centers also may have slightly different syllabus to teach to students in a class.
