North Central Mindanao College is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Inspired by the Divine Providence, NCMC envisions to produce highly qualified graduates who are able to compete in the world of professional and technical endeavor thus enhancing the socio-economic progress of their own selves, their community, their country, and the whole world in the context of self-reliance, industry, and productivity geared towards the attainment of peace and harmony.

North Central Mindanao College is a non-sectarian, non-stock, non-profit educational institution located at the heart of a progressive community of Maranding, Lala, Lanao Del Norte. It started its humble beginnings in 1989 as a Technical Vocational School, then named Central Mindanao Technical Institute duly accredited by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This institution continuously provides affordable but quality education to thousands of students not only in the province of Lanao Del Norte but also to the neighboring provinces of Lanao Del Sur, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental and Zamboanga Del Sur.

Inspired by the Divine Providence, the school envisions to be a dynamic and a leading community based institution of learning bearing the core values of Novelty, Commitment, Multiculturalism and Conscientiousness.

NCMC has already produced world class graduates who are able to compete in the international labor market. NCMC continues to establish linkages with external organizations which are considered partners of the school in the training of students and in providing the students with opportunities of employment in the future.

Poor students come to NCMC to fulfill their dreams. They chose to study at NCMC for economic reasons. They prefer to get their education in a rural atmosphere which is very affordable for very low-income parents who are mostly farmers and laborers. Most of our students are recipients of scholarship grants provided by government and non-government agencies.

NCMC continues to create an impact to the local communities by offering and establishing concrete special programs (e.g. literacy classes, service classes and / or information dissemination campaigns) and other voluntary services leading to community development and prosperity.
