TESDA in partnership with Technical Vocational School Associations of the Philippines (TeVSAPhil) along with thousands of Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) has convened for the 2nd National Technical Vocational Congress that was held in SMEX, Pasay City this October 29, 2013 to talk about key issues and evaluating changes and developments since the 1st National TecVoc Congress.
On a different note TESDA has recently started a competition for people who are guaranteed to have Tatak TESDA, Inviduals whos sucess stories has been fullfilled with the help of TESDA.

Basic Requirements for TESDA Courses:
- At least 18 years of age
- At least High School Graduate
- Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
- With good moral character
- Undergone a pre-training assessment
- Can communicate both orally and in written form
