Dipolog Computer System is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Dipolog Computer Systems, Inc. (DCSI) was organized on April l8, l994 as a stock corporation providing competent computer education and training to students and engage them in the trade of computer, hardware and supplies.
It is an accredited learning institution registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and presently under the control and supervision of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Effective in 2001, DCSI adopts Competency Based Vocational Education (CBVE) and Dual Training System (DTS) programs of TESDA.
With its goal to address the needs of every students to become competitive in their chosen field and to answer the call of the IT Industry, DCSI offers following regular courses: Computer Programming, Computer Hardware Servicing, Information Technology, Visual Graphics Design, 2D Animation, Web Design and Bookkeeping.
They also offer short term special courses such as Computer Graphics Design, Office Productivity Suite, Hardware Servicing, and Computer Aided Design.
DCSI once operated the Systems Technology Institute (STI) in Dipolog City under a franchise agreement until l995. With the invasion of technology in our society, the founders of DCSI felt the need to offer programs for skills development not only among the out-of school youths but even among professionals who lack the necessary skills to compete in the dynamic technological advancement that has become a fundamental driving and operating force in every industry.
Since then, DCSI operated on its own at its present site along A. Bonifacio Street corner Padre Ramon Street, Estaka, Dipolog City. Since its inception, DCSI has produced graduates who are not only industrially efficient but also sophistically effective.
