1.) 7-month Live-In Caregiver Program (30-hrs/wk course):
Our mother program is designed to develop the Filipino caregiver into a knowledgeable and confident professional. This course provides practical concepts and skills to the students to address the stringent requirements of the Canadian Live-in Caregiver Program, which includes among others the following:

Practical Focus on the above curriculum are:

A. ) Therapeutic Swimming:
         One of the most important therapeutic regimens in increasing muscular strength and endurance. It allows patients to do underwater physical exercises and progressive ambulation, and can offer hope to the patients of being able to use or move a body part again.

B.) Cooking of North American Meals:
Students are given basic concepts of Nutrition and Diet Therapy precisely designed for North American meals and authentic Canadian dishes normally serve in Canadian homes.

C.) Revalida
Part of the UCTC’s training regimen to assess the ability of the student to express the things learned in their training and prepare them for an interview with the Canadian Consul.

A compressed version of  the 7-mo. Live-in Caregiver Program – designed for working professionals who are planning to find employment in U.K. , U.S. and other European and Asian countries.

This course shall impart upon the students the skills in first-aide, taking care of the children, the elderly or the disabled using internationally accepted practices. It contains home and health care modules and culture classes. After taking this course, the graduates shall be able to work in a home-setting environment, a hospital or the home for the aged institutions.

Basic Requirements for TESDA Courses:

• At least 18 years of age
• At least High School Graduate
• Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
• With good moral character
• Undergone a pre-training assessment
• Can communicate both orally and in written form
