University of the Visayas – Main

University of the Visayas – Main is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Courses (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Today the University of the Visayas has grown into an eight-campus, province wide system of higher education and lower level laboratory schools. There are two campuses in Cebu City, the main University campus in the downtown Cebu City area and a laboratory high school in Pardo. The main campus in Cebu City, with a six multi-story building including a gymnasium, occupies almost one city block bounced by Colon, D. Jakosalem and Sanciangko Streets.

Basic Requirements for TESDA Courses:

• At least 18 years of age
• At least High School Graduate
• Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
• With good moral character
• Undergone a pre-training assessment
• Can communicate both orally and in written form
