St. Dominic Savio Business and Technical College (sdsbtc) is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
St. Dominic Savio Business & Technical College (SDSBTC) is a premier school in Davao City, Southern Philippines which specializes in industry-based curriculum in Multimedia Arts and Culinary Arts. It was founded by a group of individuals, who seek and endeavor to develop and form the Filipino student to be an upright citizen, imbued with the right values and positive attitude adopting the latest standard in education and technological training. As a partner of the Government in nation building, and as an agent of change for progress and growth through education and technical training, all of the courses and programs offered are TESDA registered.
SDSBTC opened its doors in November 2007 as a Computer Enhancement and Learning Center, starting with 40-hour AutoCAD Programs. Since then it has trained over 2000 Architects, Engineers, and Enthusiasts to be adept in computer-aided drafting, and state-of-the art rendering software, thereby enhancing their knowledge, and expertise in their respective fields.
In 2009, as the demand for modular and long-term programs grew, SDSBTC developed programs in the field of Multimedia and Culinary programs and capsule courses namely: Multimedia Arts Program, Graphic Designer’s Program, Web Developer’s Program, Diploma in Baking & Pastry Arts, Certificate in Baking & Pastry Arts, and Professional Cookery.
SDSBTC is the first school in Southern Mindanao to offer Visual Graphics Design NC III. All the programs are designed to give the students the expertise so they can answer the needs of the local and global ICT and Tourism industries today. With SDSBTC, students can choose to focus on a major area of interest or be equally skilled in all the competencies for a wide range of employment, and business opportunities.
