The parents having realized the value of education for their children as their wealth to be given to them, once approached Miss Lolita M. Guevarra, when she was arrived from abroad. They requested a big favor to put up a secondary school as a great help for their love ones. They cited the following reasons: The big number of elementary graduates and secondary students each school year, and the existing public and private secondary schools in the city of San Pablo are not sufficient to accommodate all students, seeking administration to secondary level. Transferees from distant provinces whose parents have migrated, and now residing in the city. One thing more, which have been a big problem to the parents were the dislocated high school students of Laguna Colleges mostly from the neighboring towns and barangays. Miss Lolita M. Guevarra a kind hearted and approachable person and always ready to help others specially for the future of the youth was touched, at once she tried to find ways and means to fulfill the great desire of the parents. School Year 1996-1997 the newly put up the secondary school started operating the secondary course from first year to fourth year with an enrollment of more than four hundred students with a permit approved May 3, 1996 by the DECS. The said school was named Greenville Highschool started in GreenValley Subdivision, Brgy. San Francisco, San Pablo City. The place is free from any destruction and conductive to learning On February 7, 1997 the institution was recognized by the government. Then summer 1998 the former named Greenville High School was changed to Greenville Academy and two (2) Computer Courses are offered. The entry of Greenville Academy in education can’t be viewed by other schools as a competition but as a good partner in molding our youth for the betterment of their future.
