Philippine Paramedical and Technical School of Cebu is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

PPTS-Cebu is the premier school of Practical Nursing (LPN) and Applied Science in Nursing (ASN-RN) in the Philippines, offering on-campus and online Nursing Programs designed to meet the high standards of nursing practice of the United States. Although PPTS started their first class as 2005, their graduates can be already be found practicing their profession in various parts of the US, the United Kingdom and other countries.

The Philippine Paramedical and Technical School – Cebu Inc. was established in June, 2005 in response to the demand for quality healthcare professionals in the United States. While its original curriculum as patterned after the California Vocational Nursing Program, this curriculum has been enhanced with input from other US Boards of Nursing as well as its adaptation to the US Nursing Education Articulation Models.

The PPTS pioneering effort in the field of nursing education was recognized with the grant by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of the first ever Certificate of Program Registration for the 15-month Practical Nursing (PN) Course as well as the 24-month Applied Science in Nursing – RN (ASN-RN) Program both of which use curricula equivalent to their counterparts in the U.S.

PPTS – Cebu received from TESDA its formal notice of registration on June 24, 2005 and started its first batch on the same month with 32 students enrolled in the Ladderized PN-ASN/RN Nursing course.

In 2008, PPTS again achieved another milestone in Philippine Nursing Education with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with Southwestern University and Salazar College of Nursing which allow PPTS graduates to be accepted in these Higher Education Institutions with all credentials accepted. This MOA was witnessed and sanctioned by both TESDA and CHED (Commission on Higher Education) officers as the first official ladderization of nursing programs registered with the two different government agencies and is an attestation to the high standards established in PPTS.

PPTS commits itself to train dedicated students to become competent Nurses and Health Care Providers. It is this commitment to quality training that guarantees highly-skilled and motivated Health Care Providers.
