Mabalacat City College was established during the administration of Mabalacat Mayor, Marino P. Morales. A feasibility study was undertaken by a technical group composed mostly of academicians and in September 2007, a decision was made that Mabalacat City College will be opened in its temporary site at Northville Subdivision, Atlu Bola, Mabalacat n June 2008.
