Kutawato Institute of Technology Foundation (KITFI) is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
The Kutawato Institute of Technology Foundation, Incorporated (KITFI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 2, 1992 with the primary purpose of establishing and operating an educational institution that provides low cost yet quality education especially for the least fortunate members in the Southern Philippines. It shall also provide venue for specialized courses such as Islamic studies as well as a conduit of the national programs relative to the peace and development via education.
As an educational institution, KITFI began its operation in year 2000 and initially offers a complete Secondary (High School) Programs duly granted and recognized by the Department of Education. It likewise offers Vocational and technical courses that are TESDA recognized and accredited. Tertiary education (Four-year course) offerings are CHED recognized has been temporarily closed/suspended due to financial incapacity.
