American Hospitality Academy in the Philippines is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

AHA Philippines is the first international culinary and hospitality American School in the Philippines. It was formally inaugurated on October 22, 2006 by then US Ambassador to the Philippines Her Excellency Kristie Kenney. AHA Philippines is part of the AHA International Hotel Management Schools (AHA-IHMS) with sister schools worldwide – AHA South Africa, AHA India, AHA Nepal, AHA Romania and AHA USA.

TESDA Certification

AHA Philippines is certified by the Technical Education and Skills Authority (TESDA) of the Republic of the Philippines to offer courses on culinary arts with the following certification levels:

  • Commercial Cooking NC II, for the Diploma in Culinary Arts and the Diploma in Culinary Entrepreneurship
  • Commercial Cooking NC III, for the Associate Degree in International Culinary Arts
  • Commercial Cooking NC IV, for the Associate Degree in International Culinary Arts

AHA Philippines is the first to have been granted the Commercial Cooking IV certification for the Associate Degree in International Culinary Arts.

Basic Requirements for TESDA Courses:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • At least High School Graduate
  • Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • With good moral character
  • Undergone a pre-training assessment
  • Can communicate both orally and in written form

Training Fees and Schedule
