St. Bernard College is strategically located at the heart of the municipality of Bangar, La Union and within the jurisdiction of Barangay San Blass. The school is beside the municipal public market and a short distance to town proper. It is accessible via any public or private conveyances in any time of day and night. Being in a very strategic location, the school can cater to the educational needs of the students in the locality and nearby communities and municipalities, while providing its share in the total economic growth of the town of Bangar and nearby municipalities.

St. Bernard College aims to be an alternative and competitive institution to offer bachelor degree programs as well as technical – vocational courses where demand for competent graduates is imminent. Currently, there is no institution within the locality of Bangar, offering a four year degree programs and technical – vocational courses. However, in the nearby municipalities of Balaoan, the Osias College has been operating for the past twenty years and concentrating in education program while Tagudin Ilocos Sur has a public college and an extension of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC).

St. Bernard College will be an alternative private school for students in the nearby towns. Currently, in view of the fact that there is only two (2) educational institutions in the area, students have no alternative but to enroll in far and expensive schools in the city of San Fernando, La Union or the city of Baguio or go the Manila to obtain their education and training. Admittedly ,this is the concern of students and parents because of the expenses and long hours of travel for the students. St Bernard College of Health Sciences is therefore looking forward to be an alternative institution that shall provide quality education for students with less cost and less worries for parents.

St. Bernard College, endeavors to be a strong educational center for bachelors degree programs and skills development in various technical- vocational courses. The advantage of St. Bernard College lies on the expertise of incorporators and administrators whose background and training are in the area of educational institutions management. The board of directors and officers of the institutions have masters and doctoral degrees in educational management and have extensive experiences in the field of information technology and health care professions and related studies.

  • Hello, I am American national that has been living in PHILIPPINES for 12years already as a permanent resident , I am highly interested in taking courses in order to work in calling center because of my first language is English, I have no interest in working abroad, I have two children here in the Philippines…
