TESDA offers 6,000 scholarships for Bulacan residents

The Technical School and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is in need of 6,000 scholars in Bulacan for the opening of its Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) this October.

According to TESDA, the program will provide residents of Bulacan the opportunity to learn technical and vocational skills for free.

“We have completed already more than 50% out of the 13,000 slots that we allocated for our province. We are inviting our constituents, and the general public to avail of this scholarship program,” TESDA Bulacan Provincial Director Grace Corazon Castillo said.

Applicants will have to undergo strict screening and evaluation. They should be high school graduates and aged 18 years old and above.

TESDA will also assist scholars in getting a job when they graduate.

Some of the courses offered by TESDA include welding, dressmaking, hotel and tourism program, electrical, machinery, repair of refrigerators and air conditioners and agricultural crops production. – Abi Santa Ines | UNTV News & Rescue
