Tesda Courses in Provincial Training Center Albay

Provincial Training Center Albay (Malilipot, Camalig, Guinobatan) is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

The Provincial Training Center – Malilipot is one of the two training centers managed by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in the Province of Albay. Programs offered: Automotive Servicing, EIM, SMAW, Plumbing, Driving

It is located at Barangay Basud, less than a kilometer from the town of Malilipot and 500 meters from the main highway. It is accessible to all the clients from the first and second districts of Albay.

Presently, it offers 6 regular programs which are registered under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS). These programs include: Automotive Servicing NC I, Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) NC II, Plumbing NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC I & II, Motorcyle/Small Engine Servicing (M/SES) NC II, and Driving NC II. They can be taken in full qualification or by cluster of competencies.

Objectives:

• To conduct skills training to out-of-school youths, unemployed and underemployed adults
• To enhance partnership with other government and non-government organizations for quality education and training output
• To continue to offer programs with high employment potentials
• To continue to enhance facilities, faculty, and staff
