The Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig is a state university run by the Pasig City local government in the Philippines. Conceived by former Mayor Vicente C. Eusebio, PLP is envisioned to be a state university that is committed to excellence in college education. With the approval and subsequent implementation of the Local Government Code (R.A.7160), Mayor Eusebio steered the Pasig City Council towards the approval of Sangguniang Panglunsod Ordinance No. 11, series of 1999 – the charter that established the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig signed on March 15, 1999.
