Dualtech Training Center Foundation is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET) under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Dualtech Center, a project of Dualtech Training Center Foundation, Inc. (DTCFI), is a not-for-profit technical-vocational school preparing young people for employment in industrial firms. Through the Dual Training System, the school collaborates with several business entities to impart relevant skills and values to high school graduates.

The mission of Dualtech is to contribute to the common good by developing young people through the dual training system to become quality-trained, skilled, productive, enlightened and morally upright persons fulfilling the needs of industry and the community we serve.

The school welcomes individuals and groups who wish to contribute to poverty alleviation through technical skills training. We are the pioneer institution in applying the dual training system in the Philippines.

Dualtech started in Manila in 1982 as a social development project to help alleviate the widespread poverty in the Philippines through vocational education and training adapting the German Dual Training System to local conditions. In 1991, a similar project was initiated in Canlubang, an agricultural estate turned into industrial use, in the town of Calamba in the province of Laguna located south of Manila.

Basic Requirements for TESDA Courses:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • At least High School Graduate
  • Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • With good moral character
  • Undergone a pre-training assessment
  • Can communicate both orally and in written form
