Founded in 1993, Dr. Gloria D. Lacson Foundation Colleges, Inc., a non-profit, non-stock entity is committed to the development of “Total Person” physically, mentally, socially, intellectually, aesthetically, and spiritually.

Its operation started in June 1993, upon the authority by then Department of Education, Culture and Sports. Initial courses offered were Liberal Arts, Junior Secretarial, Nursing Aide, and X-Ray Technician. In the following years, the College expanded its programs to include BS Nursing, BS, Physical Therapy, BS Radiologic Technology, BS Education and Graduate Programs. Later on, new programs were offered: BS Computer Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Travel Management and Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration.

In no time at all, the College rocketed upward for having earned in 2006 the excellent and enviable distinction as the TOP No. 1 NURSING SCHOOL IN CENTRAL LUZON REGION, the first school in Nueva Ecija and its component cities to have reached such top rank. It is a historical feat that can be supplanted by other universities but never be erased as a record.

The College continuously offers innovative programs that are congruent to the vision and goals of the institution, in particular and of the government, in general. The College is deeply committed to continue the mission to bringing quality education into the doorstep of every Filipino, particularly the deserving and financially handicapped people.

The name of the College was adopted in honor of the late Dr. Gloria D. Lacson, a distinguished educator, in order to perpetuate her undying dedication and commitment to the education of the youth, spirit of service to the community and strong faith in God.
