  1. Good day! My name is Marco Borromeo, together with my wife we own a newly opened restaurant, called IL DONO at Via Appia Hotel in Tagaytay. We would like to know if we could collaborate together with your culinary schools interns. May I ask what the requirements would be and if this is something you would be interested in as well? Thank you very much! Have a great day!

  8. Hi Chef Boy

Last November 11, Sunday I was one of the guests of Ms Orleta Tuft celebrated her 70th birthday at 7 Flavors Restaurant in San Juan. Ms Tuft is a good friend of mine and am writing this in her behalf.

Allow me to give few details of the celebration. Ms Tuft made a reservation of 80 persons and made a down payment of Php 30.000.

These were my and other guests observations:

The amount agreed per head was Php 600. The total number of guests turned out 145. Simple mathematics would summed to Php 87,000. However they were charged Php 145,000. Why is this so.

The food were cold. The burners were not lite.

Food refills were not immediately served. As a matter of fact food runned out. Not all guests able to have lunch.

Since the celebrant is a senior citizen a significant number of guests were seniors too but not all were given the appropriate discount.

Issuance of Official Receipt was not issued after the event. Ms Tuft has to return the following day for the OR which was not properly accomplished.

The bathrooms/comfort rooms were dirty and emits foul odor.

Am bringing this incident to your attention for the very fact that your good name carries the name of the restaurant. It was one of the considerations for the preference.

Hope to hear from you and immediate attention be given.
